some small poems

Kawase Hasui

you forgive me and I'll forgive you
there is no need to carry anything
on the way to the grave

--

cold night
blue moon
lunar eclipse
does that owl
sound lonely to you

--

mountain goats with rounded horns
desert sheep with rounded horns
and a round world circles a round sun

--

two friendly dogs greet each other
with a quick anal sniff
ah now that's friendship

--

the moon is one night past full
so bright that is cuts through the clouds
the naked tree branches
and the late night fog
it is 238,900 miles straight to me
The fool below looking up.

--

kindness blesses
both the person giving
and the person receiving

some days
a butterfly will
make you angry
