flies on the faces of the poor



 

The size of this grief.

The walls of this room give way,
shifting, and changing their shape;
growing to fit the size of my grief.
Now the house shifts and grows, too.
Now the world.
And now my heart.
Every day it all grows more
and I am so very small.
